South Korea: The Jangtaesan Recreational Forest

A beautiful day for a hike in nature. The Jangtaesan Recreational Forest just south of Daejeon is perfect for such a ‚Forest Adventure‘. Various hiking paths and facilities like tree top walks, view tower or suspension bridge invites for exploring the nature there. But it wouldn’t be called ‚recreational forest‘ without having a picnic area under the trees with relaxing chairs and coffee facilities.

South Korea: Namsan Seoul Tower

To get an overview of Seoul it’s a good advice going up to the Namsan Seoul Tower.

Here just a few impressions about the tower and its view. It’s also a popular spot for picnic or a romantic date, as the thousands of love locks shows.

Taiwan: On The Top Of Taipei

Probably the most prominent landmark in the capital of Taiwan is the famous tower Taipei 101.

On my last day in Taiwan the weather was just perfect to get to the top of this tower and have a last view over this interesting city and beautiful country. Ending the day with a visit on one of the nightly street markets.

Lithuania – Vilnius

Just by coincidence i found a city camp near the Republic of Uzupis, a neighborhood in Vilnius, which declared themselves independent. It suppose to be open for all people to live have happy life here. On a wall at the entrance of the community is displayed the constitution of the republic in many different languages.

A stroll trough Vilnius brought me to a few sighseeing spots in the old city, such as the cathedral with the distinct bell tower or up to the Gediminas tower for a great view over the city.
