Pattaya Waterjet World Cup 2024
At weekend the Waterjet World Cup was held on Jomtien Beach in Pattaya.
Out of curiosity i went there with my camera just to snap some vibes. However, i followed other photographs and got into the crew’s area, where waterjets got prepared and inspected. It was also a great place at the beach to spot the scenes on the races, hence the many photographers there.
It took not too long, an official approached me and explained me, only accredited photographers are allowed there. But i was sent to the media counter, where i got a free day pass as photographer and influencer. Lucky me. Unfortunately this pass was for the visitors area only.
Despite i was there for the crews and behind the scenes vibes, rather than just the race, it was interesting to watch the waterjets almost flying around the course.
Beside that, there was another challenge in ‚freestyle‘, where the competitors had to ride their waterjets in acrobatic and artistics figures.

Taiwan: Street Procession
There are still ongoing events for the Chinese New Year. So i bumped into a street procession and followed it for awhile. Gods and Goddesses were carried in ornate sedan chairs or pulled in decorative carriages. The people were in festive mood, played drums and instruments and cheered up the spectator and i think the gods and goddesses too.
Tel Aviv – Marathon 2023
It was pure coincidence i was on side of the track of the annual Tel Aviv Marathon yesterday.
The blocked road and a water supply station got my attention when i was wandering along the seaside.
The marathon is started just now, i got informed. So, i took my camera out and started to shoot.
And i keep pressing the shutter since there was so many motivated, smiling, waving, thumb-ups and even hearts.
You all guys get my fully respect!
