At the pump station – somewhere in South Africa

On our search of a good and cool location for another photo shooting we came across this abandon pump station on a farm. We decided for a rather shabby but sexy look. Maybe a bit like the pin-ups from the 70’s, but darker and less colorful.

Thembi got an old, stained, short trouser and a teared shirt. With her curly hair and a stern look, she posed in front of the huge petrol drum. The gas pipe in the hand she gave a self confident look to the camera.

Despite the serious look, it was all fun and we captured few shots. But decide for yourself…

Beach Photo Shooting

It was on my camp at Mikadi Beach when i met those two young women. Talking about the beaches around here, i mentioned a lonely beach with crystal clear water where i was for a photo shooting before. The two friends wanted a photo shooting too. I’m delighted to bring them there and having a day out with lots of fun.

Photo Shooting With Ruby

African girls like to change their hairstyle frequently. With Ruby i had the pleasure to meet her over the last weeks in very different styles and having a couple shootings. Each time she looked like another person. She also grow more self confident with every shooting, a pleasure to have her in front of my Nikon.

photo shooting with Lyster

On another fine day i drove south to discover new beaches. The menu at a beach bar offered masala tea, wich i chose over a thin coffee. The tasteless tea was rather disappointing, but at least i met a cute, young woman to talk with. She revealed her dreams of becoming a photo model. Her t-shirt said ‚be happy‘, confirming her sweet smile. There’s just a little chance for a real career, i told her honestly. However, i could offer a simple photo shooting, if she likes a few shots from herself. She agreed immediately and we had a funny time shooting at the beach…

Linda At The Beach

Many young women are keen of getting nice pictures of themselves. And photo shootings are always fun anyway. So was it with Linda too, as we met for a coffee at South Beach. A hazy day at beach but just right for a few shots.
