I brought you some impressions:

I got the honor to meet the musician Peeter Panz and her fellow guitarist „O“ a few weeks ago. Meanwhile i visited some gigs of them, but also met for a few drinks and playing pool billiard. When my new friend invited me to a concert out of the city, i didn’t hesitate to say yes.
Frankly, i had no idea where exactly the concert going to be. Somewhere near Rayong in the countryside, as i knew. And yes, Chilling Haus is a small campsite somewhere in the green. In the neighborhood i see a golf course while the first bands doing their sound checks. On the area are also food stalls with different tasty stuff and drinks.
While it got darker, the music goes in its full swing as more and more people coming in. They bring their camping chairs and picnic tables, enjoying the music and the community. So also me with my new friends. A weekend couldn’t be better, right?

Right on Pattaya Beach was held the Pattaya Jazzfestival 2024
Artists: Ronan Keating, Asia 7, Koh Mr. Saxman, Thabita King, Gam Wichayanee, Purenessly, Isaan Soul, Burin Boonvisut….

Recently i visited Stockholm and just bumped in the Stockholm Pride Parade.
The solidarity of the people with the LGBTQIA+ community was overwhelming. Not only the many spectactors are supporting this movements, but also many groups from police forces alike as from resque teams, fire fighters and also military gave their supporting statement by joining in the parade.
Among all the colorful people there were also some political statements and fight paroles for the oppressed ones.
Over all it was a happy and joyful event with lots of dancing and laughing people, who all wants the same as humans: peace, respect and equal rights.

Arriving on a new town i like to roam around randomly, drinking coffee in the streets, visiting a market place or hanging around a square and listen to the street musician. Just to get the vibes of the new place. Jerusalem was no exception in that.
The people were busy. Most of them. A few took their time to listen to the street music. Some homeless people were on the streets also, hoping for a Shekel or two, while a soldiers taking a cigarette break. Lots of security units on the squares anyway, but no ones seems to feel threatened or scared. In the opposite, all pretty relaxed and enjoying life. Even when a small demonstration passes by, chanting incomprehensible sayings and waving Ethiopian flags. All peacefully.
Without planning i ended up in the Old Town Jerusalem. Eventually i stood in front of the Western wall with the view of praying Jews and the Dome of Rock. Having already a glimpse on the main attractions of the city, i decided it’s enough for today and headed back to New Jerusalem on search of a tasty falafel meal.

It’s just happened i was in Jerusalem while the celebration of the Jewish holidays of Shushan Purim.
Already in the outskirts of Jerusalem i’ve seen people with masquerades, funny vehicles and music instruments . I’m told to go to the centre where in the pedestrian zones some street parties going on. Although the holidays are more than only the party and dancing, that’s a most awaited part of it. For more information about the origin of Purim read here!
I was wandering trough the crowd, dancing to music, watching the performances and just enjoy happy people around me …and took a lot of pictures from happy people….

A few years back i met that nice lady in Bangalore who invited me to her family stay. Now she’s on a trip trough Europe and i had the honor to meet her again in Zurich for one day. There was a lot to catch up, so we had coffee and chat with her friends who accompany her. Between all the luxurious shops on the famous Bahnhofstrasse we bumped in a guy offering „free hugs“. Big fun and bright smiles guaranteed.
Despite the cool temperature and overcast we had a stroll trough the inner city, seen some ancient spots and cultural highlights. The weekly flea market caught the attention of the visitors. Just before the rain started we made it back to the main train station, where the local „Oktoberfest“-party started…
